ABOUT ME

Who I am … Those who know me best describe me as passionate, loyal, thoughtful and a little bit nutty. I have a deep love for coffee, morning snuggles, and crazy maskS that I torment my husband with. I try to approach both life and work with sincerity, integrity, and a strong sense of humor. There is nothing that brings me more UNADULTERATED delight than watching my children sing in the REAR-VIEW mirror and there is nothing more rewarding than knowing a client is in love with their images. family is everything!

Experience … I am a freelance studio, portrait, and Lifestyle Photographer with a fervor for Documentary, Brand Building and illustration. I am in love with creating majestic and thought-provoking images by applying and manipulating light, composition, and textures. I started my photography journey photographing mostly weddings and families, but somewhere along the way found a deep APPRECIATION for helping others turn their business visions into captivating realities. I fly solo most days, however I love collaborating with other local artists and my ‘ride-or-die’ allie is a pretty INCREDIBLE web designer with whom i work very closely. I also have a handful of highly skilled and very TALENTED second shooters that I work with when photographing large events and weddings.

My Style … I am a little bit of mood, mixed with a whole lot of warm sunshine, sprinkled with a ton of emotion. while my preferred editing style is slightly on the ‘moodier and more ROMANTIC side, i strongly believe that one size or style does not fit all - and that some images just demand to be a little bit more ‘light & Airy’.

My time … while my summers are vastly spent capturing weddings and special events, i also do a great deal of other things. I photograph a lot family OF portraits, lifestyle sessions, real estate adventures, newborns / births, and the occasional furry friend. year round however, i can often be spotted around town photographing local venues, RESTAURANTS, bakeries, fitness facilities and local artists looking to stand out in their craft and make their mark.

FOR MY DAD - A SURFER’S PRAYER

Surf and sand now summon

Your heartbeat now the waves

Always there in rhythm

Passing memories crowd the endless days

May your voice be heard in seagulls

Your laughter wind for sails

Letting go of mind and body

Let your spirit dance among the whales

May your journey bring you comfort

Where in rainbows you exist

While you swim among the dolphins

Each moment you are truly missed

Each day I sit and close my eyes

I look back on times of yore

And know that ours was precious

And long for so much more

Rest easy now untethered

Let the surf become your guide

I’ll see you in the setting sun

And hear you in the rising tide

FOR MY DAD WHO WAS MY BIGGEST SUPPORTER
